Read Genesis 19.1-11. In 19.1-11: The wickedness of Sodom. The generous hospitality that the victors received from Abraham and Sarah in 18.1-15 contrasts sharply with the incredible lack of hospitality shown by the inhabitants of Sodom. In verse 1: Two angels come to Sodom. The angels are divine messengers who look like ordinary human beings. They are apparently two of the same "men" who visited Abraham and Sarah (18.22). In verse 5: The men of Sodom desire to know the visitors sexually. They threaten homosexual rape. Comments or Questions..
