Read Luke 16.19-31. This story amplifies the reversal of values where "what is prized by human beings is an abomination in the sight of God" (v. 15). In verses 22-23: The poor man is given a name Lazarus, and is accorded the highest dignity of a child of Abraham (3.8; see Gen 15.15; 47.30; Deut 31.16), which will place him at the head of the table with Abraham for the great feast (13.28-29).
