Read Ezekiel 40.17-27 In verses 17-19: The thirty chambers that line the outer court were used by the Levites for various actiivities (Jer 35.2-4; Neh 13.4-14). In verses 20-27: The gates for the outer court to the north and south are similar to the east gate. There is no west gate; the Temple occupies the westernside of the compound.
