Read Proverbs 28.1-14. In verse 4: The law ("torah") is taken by some as the Mosaic law but it is better to understand it as the traditional instruction of teachers and parents. To defy such teaching is to promote the designs of the wicked, where as to heed it is to defeat them. In verse 9: An example of poetic justice.
